Welcome to the great rom-com bracket of 2019! In honor of the 30th anniversary of When Harry Met Sally, Zoë Ryan and I are setting out to determine the best romantic comedy of the past 30 years. We previously laid out the rules of the bracket, and today we break down the results from the first round.
We’ve made a significant change to the rules: based on the feedback we’ve gotten and the overwhelming number of votes we received, we have decided that our votes will no longer be weighted more heavily than yours. The people decide the bracket. Which makes us a little sad about some outcomes, but I think makes the whole thing a bit more fun.
